Open Enrollment Begins February 1, 2024

A Letter from our Preschool Director (Updated February 1, 2024)

At Jacksonville Classical Academy we are proud to offer an introduction to Classical Education through our preschool program, laying the foundation for students to continue building on in our lower and upper school.  Our Riverside Campus successfully launched the program in the Fall of 2023, and it has been a wonderful journey of learning and growth for our little ones.

I am thrilled to share the news that our Fort Caroline Campus will be opening its doors to the preschool program in the Fall of 2024. This expansion allows us to reach even more young minds, providing them with the foundation they need to thrive in their educational journey.

Our goal is to help each child reach their greatest potential – intellectually, physically, socially, spiritually, and emotionally. Our state-certified teachers are experts in early childhood development, guiding students through activities that explore concepts in early literacy, mathematics, science, and history while enhancing fine motor, social, and emotional capabilities.

The Preschool Program at Jacksonville Classical Academy follows Florida's Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program (VPK), offering a FREE educational experience for 4-year-olds to prepare them for kindergarten and beyond. To be eligible, children must live in Florida and turn four on or before September 1 of the school year they apply.

For those interested in applying for a certificate of eligibility, please CLICK HERE to access the application. If you have any questions or require further information about our preschool program, please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly at lhinson@jacksonvilleclassical.org.

Thank you for considering Jacksonville Classical Academy for your child's early education.

Growing Hearts and Minds,

Lancy Hinson

Preschool Director
