2025 Summer Reading

We believe that summer reading is an essential part of maintaining academic growth and nurturing a lifelong love of learning. Our summer reading program is designed to encourage students to explore great literature, develop critical thinking skills, and continue building their vocabulary during the break.

  • Grades K-5th: for our youngest students, summer reading is encouraged but not required. We have carefully curated a list of classic and age-appropriate books to inspire a love for reading and encourage families to read together over the summer.

  • Grades 6th-11th: 6th-11th grade students are expected to read one assigned summer reading book, which is designed to prepare them for the academic challenges of the upcoming year. We encourage students to read additional books of their choice over the summer.

Our summer reading lists are thoughtfully crafted to ensure that each grade level is challenged and engaged. We encourage parents and students to review the recommended or required books and embrace the opportunity for a summer filled with great stories and meaningful learning.
