FOCUS Setup through DCPS (Duval County Public Schools) for NEW Families:

Note that DCPS suggests Google Chrome as the recommended browser to use with FOCUS. However, if on a Mac, Safari may need to be utilized. If you run into issues try both browsers or contact DCPS Technology Services below. 

Step 1: Follow this link to the FOCUS site:

If the link doesn't work, copy and paste the link into your browser. You can also browse directly to the link by going to, hover over "Students & Families" in the top menu, then click on "Students & Families" in the drop down menu. Then select Focus from the list. This will bring you to the "Technology Services | FOCUS School Software" page. 

Step 2: This page will lay out very detailed instructions to create an account.  Please make sure to follow each step as laid out. At the bottom of the page select the "Create Account" button.

Step 3: Follow the on screen prompts to complete the account. Be sure to make note of the email address and password used during account creation as it will be needed again. 

Step 4: Next, check your email for a verification email from  You will need to click the "email validation link" to verify.  Be sure to complete this step as soon as possible as the validation link will expire.  

Step 5: Twenty-four hours after your email has been validated, go back to This time, select the "Link Student" button, and select "Jacksonville Classical Academy" from the drop down menu.

FOCUS Login Instructions for CURRENT Families:

FOCUS is where you can monitor your child’s grades, test scores, attendance, and discipline data.  Before beginning you will need to locate your child’s Student ID.  This is on their report card and progress reports.  If you are unable to locate it, please call the school's registrar and we can help you. 

To link your child to your Focus account, please follow the directions below: 


Step 1: Go to 


Step 2: Click on the OneView icon (right side of page)


Step 3: Select Parent/Guardian Login (use your login information you used when registering your child)


Step 4: Select My Links


Step 5: Select Add A Student To My Account


Step 6: Complete The Form and Select Add (repeat if you have multiple students)


Step 7: If processed correctly, it will say Pending Request.  You will get an email to visit the school and present a photo ID.  If you are unable to come to the school, you can forward the FIM Service email with your photo ID and you student name(s) to you campus registrar.  Please remember that only Custodial parents can have access to Focus.  The approval process can take 1-3 days.  


Once you have access you can login to Focus to view your child’s information using the following steps:
