Arrival and Dismissal Carline 2022-2023 

At Jacksonville Classical Academy, scholars should demonstrate virtue from the moment they enter the school property. It is our civic responsibility to create a structured routine that allows scholars and families to get to and from school in the safest and most efficient way possible. Please be patient as we take the necessary precautions to safeguard all scholars. 

This page includes very important information for parents so please read the entire message and view the map with diagram. 

ALL PARENTS K-8 MUST USE CARLINES TO DROP OFF STUDENTS. 

Arrival/Unloading Times: 7:30 - 7:55 
Dismissal/Pick-up Times: 3:00 - 3: 25

Main Carline- K-3 (and Older Siblings) 

Arrivals: Scholars should begin arriving no earlier than 7:30 am. The gates will be opened at 7:30 am. Staff will be in the loading zones to escort our scholars from their vehicles to the building. Other staff will be inside to supervise students on their way to class. At 7:55 am, our doors will be locked to ensure the security of students and staff. If arriving after 7:55 when carline closes, please park the parking lot at the front of the school and walk scholars to the reception window just outside the main office entrance. 

When you arrive in the mornings and afternoons to drop off and pick up, please enter using Forest Street to Margaret Street to the Main Carline entrance and follow the path marked with yellow arrows on the diagram below. Scroll Down for the Map & Diagram 

Upper Carline- 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th Graders (without Younger Siblings) 

Arrivals: Scholars should begin arriving no earlier than 7:30 am. The gates will be opened at 7:30 am. When you arrive in the mornings and afternoons to drop off and pick up scholars you will enter from Forest St. into the parking lot. Follow the path marked with blue arrows on the diagram. If arriving after 7:55 when carline closes, please park the parking lot at the front of the school and walk scholars to the reception window just outside the main office entrance. 

ALL Dismissals: You will pick-up your scholar at the same area that you dropped off. The gates will be opened at 2:15 pm for dismissal. Staff will be in the loading zones to escort scholars to their vehicles. After 3:30 pm, parents will need to park and come to the main office (with an ID) to pick up their scholars. 

Car Line Reminders: 

● No lining up before 2:00pm 

● Refrain from using your cell phone 

● Remember: the first couple of weeks of school will be a little longer, so please pack your patience and some extra time!
