Uniform Details

Welcome Parents   

This page gives you quick access to important items addressed in the new uniform policy and student dress code. There is also a table that shows you the grade-by-grade uniform requirements. NOTE: Important Guidelines & Changes for 2022-23

●       Uniform Policy Guidelines will be strictly enforced this 2022-2023 school year. No child will be permitted to attend class if not in the correct uniform.

●       All uniforms need to be consistent in design and color with the policy.   

●       Only proper navy sweaters with logos are to be worn in classrooms.  

●       No hoods or heavy jackets are to be worn in the building.

●       Logo embroidery is required for the school year 2022-2023.

Shirts/ Undershirts

Navy polo shirts or white button down shirts will be worn at all times. The top button of the polo may be unbuttoned, all others must be buttoned. A tie must be worn at all times with the white button down shirt. Shirts must be tucked in at all times. The school logo must be embroidered on the left side of the chest of the shirt.  No long sleeve shirts can be worn under the short sleeve navy polo.


Outerwear, Cardigans, Sweaters

Solid navy sweaters or fleece may be worn outside or inside during cool weather. Grades 7 and up may wear a navy blazer. All must have the school logo embroidered on the left side of the chest. No outerwear like heavier jackets or sweaters with hoods are to be worn in the building.


Pants, Shorts, Skirts, and Skorts

Uniform bottoms must be worn at the natural waist. Pants should extend to the bottom of the shoe. Shorts/skirts/skorts must reach the top of the knee. If wearing a skirt, black or navy blue shorts must be worn underneath. For Grades 1-8, all pants or shorts should have belt loops and a black or brown (plain) belt is required. Elastic waistband on shorts/pants allowed for kindergartners only. Cargo pants, joggers, and jeans are not allowed.


Jumpers

The Plaid jumper is allowed for Kindergarten - 2nd Grade girls only. A white button shirt must be worn underneath. The school logo must be embroidered on the left side of the chest on the jumper. Black or navy blue shorts must be worn underneath.


Hair

Hair must be clean and neat and out of the eyes and face. Only natural hair colors are allowed. No unusual or radical hair styles that may be distracting. Hair accessories must be navy blue or white. Hats, bandanas, headbands wider that 2 inches and scarves are prohibited (except for religious practices that are documented with the school administration).


Shoes

Tennis shoes must be solid black or solid white with black or white soles.  Shoes will be worn for PE as well. No boots, oxford or “Mary Jane” type of shoes. Children will not have time to switch shoes between regular class and PE or recess.


Socks

Black, navy or white socks, any length, must be worn at all times. Navy or black tights may be worn under jumper, skirt, or skort. All other hosiery prohibited.


Jewelry

Students may wear no more than one necklace at one time. Necklaces must be tucked into the scholars’ shirt. No visible necklaces are allowed. Scholars may wear no more than two earrings per ear of stud type (no dangling earrings). Body/facial piercings and gauges are not permitted. No visible body piercings. One watch may be worn, but it shall not be a “smart” watch or fitness device.


Other

No visible tattoos are permitted. Colognes, perfumes, and pungent substances which may cause distraction or allergic reactions are not permitted. Makeup must look natural.
