In partnership with a generous donor and the Florida Prepaid College Foundation, Jacksonville Classical Academy is proud to offer The Duane & Sue Ottenstroer Scholarship to outstanding students who demonstrate Justice, Excellence, Tenacity, and Self-Government. These virtues are demonstrated through leadership, academic achievement, and moral character. Each year, two students from the senior class will be awarded this prestigious scholarship for a 4-year Florida Prepaid College Plan 

 

General Requirements: This scholarship may only be used at an approved in-state Florida institution, including public or private colleges, universities and accredited vocational or technical schools. To qualify, the school must be eligible for federal financial aid and possess a valid FAFSA Code. If a recipient chooses to attend a private institution, it is important to note that the Florida Prepaid College Plan will only over the average in-state tuition rate. Any remaining balance at a private institution will be the responsibility of the student and their family.

Applicants must: 

• Have attended Jacksonville Classical Academy since 9th Grade 

• Graduate from Jacksonville Classical Academy

Applications are due by Friday, October 9 and scholarship recipients will be announced by the end of October.
